Age Criteria

Juniors : 6 to 11 years, Solo performance, Duration – 4 mins + 1 min grace
Teens : 12 to 18 years, Solo performance, Duration – 4 mins + 1 min grace
Open Category : 18+ years, Solo performance, Duration – 4 mins + 1 mins grace
Group Performance : Below 12 years and 12+ years onwards, Group performance, Duration – 5 mins + 1 mins grace

Eligibility Criteria:

Open to all Classical musicians & Classical Dancers from India & abroad
All students who are learning the art forms under a guru are welcome to apply according to the age group classification.

Flow of the Talent Show:

Talent Show Registration: Complete your registration and pay the entry fees.
Video Submission: Upon payment confirmation via email, you will receive a Google form to attach your video. (Submission Guidline: Check here >>).
Finale Performance: Live videos will be played on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Zoom and judges will score accordingly and results will be announced a day later.
Grand Finale: In July @ India.

For Group performances (12 years & above) – for USA & other countries $20 per head x No. of participants (Min 2 & Max 6 members in a group)

Video Submission Guidelines:

For Bharatanatyam Participants:

Performance: Please choose pieces that balance both Nritta (pure dance) and Abhinaya (expressive dance). We recommend Krithis that include both swarams (melodic syllables) and sahithyam (lyrics).
Content: Choose a traditional Bharatanatyam piece that highlights your skills.
Duration: Varies by age group.
Attire: Wear a full traditional Bharatanatyam costume with makeup and accessories.

For Classical Music Participants:

Performance: Submit a video of a classical music performance (vocal or instrumental).
Content: Perform a classical composition (e.g., Raaga, Kriti, Devotional song, or Thillana) that showcases your musical abilities.
Duration: Varies by age group.
Attire: Wear traditional attire suitable for classical music performances

Judging process

The Competition will be judged by an eminent jury panel drawn from the relevant fields of Performing Arts.

Judging criteria include technical skill, artistic expression, adherence to tradition, and overall impact. Judges will provide feedback, and scores based on these criteria. Please note, the Panel/Jury will be the final decision-making authority.
